1. Log in to Webmail (Roundcube):
- Log in to your webmail account.
2. Access Roundcube Settings:
- Once logged into Roundcube, locate and click on the "Settings" icon (usually found in the top right corner).
3. Manage Identities:
- In the settings, find and click on "Identities".
- You should see a list of your email identities. Select the identity you want to modify.
4. Modify Display Name:
- Within the identity settings, locate the "Display Name" field.
- Enter the desired name you want to appear instead of your email address.
- For example, instead of "[email protected]", you could enter "John Doe".
5. Save Changes:
- Click the "Save" button to apply the changes to your identity.
6. Verify:
- Compose a new email. The "From" field should now display the custom display name you set, not the email address.
- When the recipient receives the email, they will see the display name you entered instead of the email address.
